Widata ConnectPoint Widata ConnectPoint System is a messaging platform designed for Microsoft Windows® that enables text messaging to all types of wireless devices regardless of brand, model or carrier. In its most basic form, Widata ConnectPoint supports communications to On-Site/In-House tone-only numeric and alphanumeric pagers.  Unlike carrier-based solutions, the system functions 100% as a “stand-alone” system with no reliance on outside service providers and no monthly air-time charges. Widata ConnectPoint can also provide messaging to cell phones, wireless PDA’s, long-range pagers, on-site wireless telephone systems and more to provide a seamless and universal method for communicating with ALL types of wireless devices.

Widata ConnectPoint has a client and web interface that enables access from a stand-alone PC, or can be licensed for multiple users on your LAN so that staff and employees can look up subscribers by name and send text messages from their PC’s.  Widata ConnectPoint supports group messaging and has numerous levels of security so that you can tailor access rights for your particular needs.  Users can store frequently sent messages such as “CODE BLUE ICU WEST” so that messages can be dispatched quickly with just a couple of mouse clicks.  Stored messages can be easily appended with additional information if required.  User-friendly features such “scheduled pages” allows for one-time or recurring messages to be delivered to users at designated times in the future.  All messages and activity are recorded in archive logs for quality assurance and risk management. 

Widata ConnectPoint offers numerous integration inputs such as PBX Integration for telephone access via your phone switch, Alarm Monitoring for automated dispatching of critical events, Nurse Call interface and more.
