Integration

Larger hotels often require the integration of numerous other electronic systems into the hotel communications system such as work orders, service requests, building management, security and fire alarms. These alarm systems generate a predetermined alphanumeric message and alert hotel managers and engineering staff to critical situations such as fire alarms, equipment failure or security alarms. Messages can be directed to wireless devices such as On-Site Pagers, Wireless PBX Phones, Long-Range Pagers, Cell Phones and Wireless PDA’s. The hotel's local area network (LAN) may also be connected to the hotel communications system, allowing messages to be dispatched from any PC.
